God or coincidence?

Can you see the hand of God in life’s occurrences too well orchestrated to be a coincidence? That is what the world calls it; “coincidence.” Things just happen by accident. There’s no order, no rhyme or reason. That’s how unbelievers see life. Believers see it differently. We see a pattern to the events of our lives. We see too many coincidences for it all to be a coincidence. We may not notice right away, but God is moving. I’m talking about the providence of God, not miracles. Something doesn’t have to be a miracle to be a production of God. God made the laws of nature and is fully capable of suspending them anytime He wishes to, but He does some of His most masterful manipulations in simpler ways. Step back and see the big picture. See His hand in the detail. Do you honestly believe it was a coincidence that family moved to our area and started worshipping with us right when we needed a new teacher/song leader/soundboard operator? Was it coincidence that visitor just happened to show up on the day the sermon was on exactly what he/she has been struggling with lately? You were delayed by the train for two minutes and when you got to the next intersection there was a bad wreck, a wreck you would have been in if you had been there two minutes earlier. Coincidence? It could be. All of these examples could be coincidence, but when there are dozens of them which result in an outcome answering a prayer you’ve been praying, there is just too much design to think God had nothing to do with it. You are free to believe what you want. Life’s highs and lows, cause it all to seem random. I get that. But I hope you will consider the possibility that there could be a loving God who in the past displayed His work in many powerful events but is also able to help us while staying virtually unnoticed.
