Reading and learning the Bible is so much easier these days than it used to be. Fifty years ago, if you were reading your Bible and you came across something you didn’t understand you had to phone a friend or wait until you were around someone who might know the answer to your question. If you wanted to hear a sermon or watch a class you had to wait till the next Sunday or Wednesday, unless you were one of the lucky ones who had a cassette tape player so you could listen to classes from the Sunset School of Preaching. Today there are many wonderful study guides and resources for spiritual growth. BibleTalk.tv is a free app on your phone which gives you access to 1,500 sermons, classes and devotionals. I am grateful to be part of this team as the BT Church Relations Representative. This is the most popular resource in our brotherhood with over 66 million views and 6 million subscribers on YouTube. But it is not the only resource. World Video Bible School has many great classes online plus an online school. Truth For Today has commentaries for each Bible book. They also have an online school with classes to go with each commentary. In Search of the Lord’s Way has sermons every Sunday morning around 7:30 on all 210 TV markets across the United States, preached by my good friend Phil Sanders. Apologetics Press is a great resource for evidences of creation and authenticity of the Bible. I recently discovered The Progressive Primitivist, online sermons and debates on some of the church’s toughest subjects. This is the ministry of Mike Hisaw and his son Jake. World English Institute lets you study the Bible with students around the world online. So does Let’s Start Talking and World Bible School. I’m probably missing some. There are so many great ways for you to grow in your faith, to share your faith to edify others. Don’t limit your spiritual growth to Sunday mornings.
